How often should I use Good Dirt Plant Food?

Apply Good Dirt Plant Food each time you water your plants.

Since we don’t base our products in salt or petroleum, you can feed your plants year-round, as often as you like, and you will not have a buildup of salts that can cause plant drought stress or root burn.

How do I use Good Dirt’s Plant Food?

Our concentrated formula is easy to mix and goes a long way — there are 60 capfuls are in our 15oz product.  Picture this: if you mixed the whole 15oz Plant Food container at once, you’d be making more feeding solution than your bathtub can even hold! Plus, we’ve done the math for you — that’s just $0.28/gallon.

Does your Plant Food expire?

Good Dirt Plant Food has a five year shelf life. We recommend making a new solution each time you feed your plants. If you have left over plant food after mixing it with water, we recommend using all that you mixed, as it can be fed to your lawn, shrubs, or anything that grows.

  • Step 1: Mix the Plant Food Concentrate with Water

Outdoor: Mix 3 capfuls of Plant Food into 1 gallon of water

Indoor: Mix 1 capful of Plant Food into 1 gallon of water

  • Step 2: Water Your Plants

Be kind to your plants and only water plants when necessary. If the soil feels dry to the touch, your plant is probably getting thirsty. Remember to drain any excess water caught in a saucer.

  • Step 3: Watch Your Plants Thrive

Easy, efficient and effective… Naturally! Be sure to make a fresh solution of Good Dirt Plant Food + Water every time you feed.
